Micaiah AI is grounded in the authority of Scripture and designed to be broadly evangelical and non-denominational. All Bible verses are drawn from reliable translations (NIV, ESV, NLT, KJV). We do not push any particular tradition — our goal is always to point users back to God's Word and let the Holy Spirit do the work. Our AI theology is reviewed by ordained ministers regularly.
Your reflections are completely private and encrypted at rest and in transit. Only you can see them. We do not sell data, share reflections with third parties, or use your personal prayers to train AI models without explicit consent. Your journal is yours alone — as it should be.
Micaiah AI is purpose-built for spiritual reflection. Unlike general AI tools, it understands spiritual themes, maps to Scripture specifically, maintains your personal journal, tracks your growth over time, and is designed to be theologically careful. It's not a chatbot — it's a spiritual companion built from the ground up for this specific purpose.
Absolutely — in fact, new believers often find it most transformative. Micaiah AI meets you exactly where you are. You don't need to know Scripture or have the right words. You just need to be honest about what you're feeling or thinking. The app does the rest, introducing you to relevant verses with context and gentle application steps.
Your saved journal entries and past reflections are available offline. However, generating new AI insights requires an internet connection as the AI processing happens in the cloud. We're working on a lightweight offline mode for future updates.
Micaiah AI primarily uses NIV, ESV, and NLT as they balance accuracy and readability. KJV is also available for those who prefer it. You can set your preferred translation in Settings, and it will be used consistently across all your insights and Scripture references.
Yes — absolutely. Cancel anytime from your account settings with no penalty. If you cancel, you retain Premium access until the end of your billing period, then revert to the free plan. Your journal entries are never deleted — all your past reflections remain accessible on the free plan.
